Reading through Plays

We aim to enjoy reading a wide range of plays, with members taking all the parts regardless of age, sex or experience. Scripts will be provided by the Warwickshire Library Drama Section, for which we pay a small charge. The host or hostess will provide tea or coffee, and there will be an opportunity to socialise, discuss what we have read, and choose the next plays for our list.
Group members have the opportunity to get involved in selecting plays and we aim to enjoy a variety from the medieval Geoffrey Chaucer to the modern Jaki McCarrick. Scripts are borrowed from Warwickshire Music and Drama Library at a small charge. Meetings offer us an opportunity to read a part in a drama without enacting it on stage or needing to read the lines. No previous experience is required.
