Volunteering for Compassionate Kenilworth
Volunteers are the heart of Compassionate Kenilworth; we rely on you!
Without the work and commitment of our volunteers, we would not be able to deliver our projects. The benefits of volunteering are immense, the positive ripple effect on individuals, organisations and the wider community have a far-reaching impact to all of us. Not only does the act of volunteering improve the lives of others, but it also enhances our lives as volunteers.
Compassionate Kenilworth is founded and run predominantly by our volunteers. We have volunteers helping us deliver our multiple free to access social, learning and support cafes and organising emergency food provision and energy support. Our volunteers design websites, post on social media, research and gather information, deliver digital tech support to members of the public and also to our charity.
We aim to support our volunteers by providing robust safeguarding training as well as access to relevant training and development crucial to their roles.
Compassionate Kenilworth has a robust volunteer recruitment and training requirement. Where necessary we require our volunteers to have a current DBS and adhere to our Safeguarding policy.
