Volunteering

Volunteers are the heart of Compassionate Kenilworth; we rely on you!  Without the work and commitment of our volunteers, we would not be able to deliver our projects and programs.   The benefits of volunteering are immense, the positive ripple effect on individuals, organisations and the wider community have a far-reaching impact to all of us.  Not only does the act of volunteering improve the lives of others, but it also enhances our lives as volunteers.

Compassionate Kenilworth is founded and run predominantly by our volunteers. We have volunteers designing websites, posting on social media, researching and information gathering, delivering digital tech support to us and members of the public. We have volunteers teaching English to Asylum Seekers, organising holiday food provision, running arts and crafts and wellbeing sessions as well as gardening and supporting at bereavement cafes.

We aim to support our volunteers by providing robust safeguarding training as well as access to relevant training and development crucial to their roles.

Compassionate Kenilworth has a robust volunteer recruitment and training requirement.  We require all volunteers to have a current DBS and adhere to our Safeguarding policy.
