Kenilworth’s Iconic Events Need
Casual Volunteers - Like You!

 

Annually our town hosts fantastic, fun, family-friendly events that bring people together while raising vital funds for local charities. These events simply wouldn’t be possible without the support of community volunteers — and even giving just a few hours of your time each year can make a real difference.  We launched this initiative last year to make it easier for people to be involved.  We were delighted that a number of residents signed up and helped support these brilliant fundraising events.  However, as these events continue to grow, we still need more people who are happy to volunteer on a casual, flexible basis to help ensure their ongoing success.

Compassionate Kenilworth hosts a central registration form where volunteers can sign up in one place. Once registered, your contact details will be shared with the relevant community organisation, who will be in touch when volunteering opportunities arise. We’ll also keep you informed with updates about upcoming events and volunteering needs. Please consider signing up — or simply help by spreading the word.

 

Town Events That Need Your Help 2026:

• Two Castles Race - 14th June  (Rotary) – Over 150 marshalls needed to keep runners safe!
   

• The Grand Show  - 13th June (Lions) –  Assist with setup, stalls & logistics.
   

• Kenilworth Half Marathon & 5K - 6th September (Kenilworth Runners) – 100+ marshalls needed
   

• Advent Calendar - throughout November (Rotary) to be confirmed.
   

• Fireworks Display - 7th November (Round Table) – Supporting ticketing, crowd management & setup.
   

• Santa Sleigh - 1st - 20th December  (Round Table) – Help bring Santa to the streets of Kenilworth! 

• 
  Carol Service at the Castle - 19th December  (Lions) – Supporting event coordination
   

• Duck Race  - 26th December (Lions) – Help with ticket sales and race coordination
